Behind the microphone at BBC Radio Solent

I'm Rob Sills, a sports commentator, broadcaster, journalist and producer based in the South of England.

From Premier League commentary boxes to national television, I've had the opportunity to cover some incredible moments in sport. My work spans football commentary, radio journalism, audio production and television reporting — from top-flight football and major cup finals to grassroots sport and the people whose stories deserve to be told.

Through my work with BBC Radio Solent and BBC South Today, I've reported from stadiums and studios, interviewed players and managers, and produced content that brings audiences closer to the action.

Whether I'm calling a last-minute winner, reporting on a big story or getting to know the people behind the headlines, I love telling stories and making audiences connect with them.
